Last night, since Daddy was out of town, I decided to take the kids to a Powder Puff Football game at my old high school. (If you don't know what Powder Puff is, it is when the girls play football instead of the boys). Last night, it was the Junior girls vs. the Senior girls. With Nana and kids in tow, we had a great time!!! Below is a picture of Savanna and one of her best buddies, Bode, having fun at the game. A picture of the action...

I need some inspiration....
I need some inspiration for my master bedroom....We just moved into a new house in September and I am slowly but surely decorating each room. Right now I need to get some inspiration for my bedroom. Currently, I have creamy beige walls with black distressed furniture plus a nightstand that is a chippy beige color with dark wood top. I have an old door knob hook hanging on my wall that I have my wedding vail hanging from and I have a wedding picture of my husband and I also hanging on the wall. I also have these DREAM letters hanging above my bed... This is the bedding that I have on my bed....I love it! It is the Cirrus bedding in cream from Anthropologie.
And this picture below is an inspiration picture. I love the romantic feel of the room and the way it just all flows together....

Our camping trip...
Aren't these two so sweet? This is my daughter Savanna (yes, the one with the bucket on her head) and her friend Rylee. They had so much fun on our memorial day camping trip! As you can see they got very dirty, but still stopped to hug for a picture!

Happy Waffles....
After waking up at 6:30 am, after not sleeping well (since the hubby's gone) and at the beginning of what is going to be a busy day, I decided to make the kids waffles....they didn't even have to ask me, I just made them, maybe my wishful thinking was hoping that it would make them happy and they would listen to me today...so far, things are not going well, but I will be optimistic....well I'm off to start packing for our camping trip and then it is off to the grocery store and then I need to plant two plants that didn't get put into the ground on Sunday and water the garden....ugh...I'm already tired!

Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday Amy! Amy is my husband's assistant and cousin and she is the best thing that ever happened to my husband (besides me of course). On Friday night we celebrated Amy's birthday at The Kitchen...a true culinary experience. It was a 6 course meal with wine and dessert too...so yummy and so much fun! That lobster in the picture was alive....sorry for all you vegetarians reading this....Amy you are fabulous! We love you!

Dream Kitchen
Isn't this kitchen just absolutely beautiful??? No, this is not my kitchen, but don't get me wrong, my kitchen is beautiful, but this is a dream. I love the dark wood floors, the light gray walls, the white cabinets, right down to the little white plates on the wall. Someday...no one ever said a girl can't dream......

Coffee...
I just won't make it through today without this....coffee in my favorite Anthro mug! I am already on my 2nd cup and my husband informed me that our coffee maker was doing weird things this morning....spewing out coffee onto the counter....oh no! I hope it can make it through just one more day before I have time to buy another coffee maker.

Peekaboo...
Here is my little man Rocco having fun in the tunnel. He got it for his first birthday 3 months ago and finally decided he was brave enough to try it out. Who knew it would be so much fun! Now his favorite game is playing peekaboo in the tunnel. How sweet it is to be young and full of life and be able to fit into an 18' tunnel!!!
